Tumoni is a digital financial services company and we rely on regulated banking institutions to offer you the same level of security.
What documents do I need to open an account?
You only need to be able to identify yourself with your national ID or passport. Even if you live in the United States, documents from your country of origin (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, or Nicaragua) are legally valid to verify your identity.
Why is it free to send money to Central America?
Intermediaries and additional costs are eliminated when making account-to-account transfers at Tumoni. Therefore, if the person sending money to Central America and the person receiving it are both Tumoni users, the transfer is free.
How can I withdraw and deposit money if everything is digital?
You can withdraw your cash at any ATM, and pay with your card everywhere that accepts Visa or Mastercard cards.
