Marketing Operations Specialist

About the position

This is our first-ever dedicated growth hire, and it is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to learn fast and make a real impact. We are growing quickly in Nicaragua, and we need someone on the ground to help turn our marketing strategy into results. As a Marketing Analyst, you will own the execution. You make sure our campaigns actually happen, run on time, and deliver. You will work with vendors, agencies, press, and our internal teams, track what is working, and fix what is not. You will learn the business from the inside and have room to grow as we do.

What you will do at Tumoni

Help define and implement our marketing strategy in Nicaragua, and manage the vendors who execute it: billboards, events, activations, and other channels. Collect quotes and budgets, keep spend on track, and hold vendors to what was agreed.
Coordinate with our content agency on creative and social, and with press and media for PR coverage and events.
Coordinate the performance of our field activations team and our non-bank agent network on the ground.
Work with the teams running our performance ads to align on goals and results.
Track campaign performance and KPIs across all our channels, and report on what is working and what is not.
Help drive our referral strategy for US users and build a pipeline of US partners.
Spot new growth opportunities and bring ideas to the table.

Requirements for the role:

2+ years of experience in commercial, external-facing roles.
A degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Strong with numbers, comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets, and able to build clear presentations.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Organized and reliable, able to manage several vendors and deadlines at once.
Motivated and proactive, someone who takes ownership and gets things done.
Based in Managua and able to work in person.
